U.P. government taking note of lackadaisical working by officials

Lucknow: In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s zero tolerance policy towards corruption, the process of strict action (which includes suspension, removal from service, demotion and filing of FIR) against corrupt officers/employees of the Consolidation Department is continuing. In the same sequence,  GS Naveen Kumar, Consolidation Commissioner, suspended Rana Pratap, Consolidation Officer, Banda on 13.06.2024 and initiated disciplinary action against him for not completing the work of targeted village Umrehda under Section-27 and 52 in the financial year 2023-24 in district Banda, instead of resolving the errors of the Chaks created at the Assistant Consolidation Officer level in village Bahinga and proceeding with the work, reverting the village to Assistant Consolidation Officer level, not running the court through CCMS portal and increasing the area of ​​Gata number-1331 of village Umrehda more than the settlement, etc.

In continuation of the recommendation of District Magistrate, Mirzapur dated 17.05.2024, for arbitrarily passing four separate orders without investigation in the inheritance of deceased Sheshanarayan Singh from Chak number-950 etc. of village Mawaiya, misusing the position and passing the transfer order dated 12.09.2023 without proper examination/investigation of the document in case number-174, section-12, Shri Rajendra Ram, Assistant Consolidation Officer, Mirzapur was suspended by dated 13.06.2024 and departmental proceedings were initiated.
